OIL MONKEY 4TH ANNIVERSARY

Oil Monkey was established in 2007. Our design services target architecture, interior design, and furniture.

We invariably insist on the necessity to follow the meaning and original interpretation of aesthetics. In addition, it is our firm belief that all living and non-living things are linked to the embrace of mother nature irrespective of their wide diversity.

This year 2011, we have completed four design items in the range of House W, Niao, Crucifixion and Qiao Jing Bi Rui.

Man builds abode on land in the embrace of nature, which he must respect and adore.

Architecture is an art that places light, wind, and heat all together in space. The construction of Niao is meant to materialize it.

Qiao Jing Bi Rui

They, like lotus growing in thick, squelching mud, originate from the material world and yet stay distinguished and unstained by the vice of it. They can only be studied with reverence rather than being toyed with.

For you all angels from the kingdom of heaven. Come and rest to mitigate fatigue of flight.

Rotation and Revolution

A bowl-like clock with two sets of lamps. 12 big lamps represent hours, 60 small lamps for minutes.

He is designed on the basis of the principles of perspective drawing.

The principle of contrast refers to a created form comprising elements paradoxical or standing apart. It is a chair made through the combination of two extremely different entities.
